“Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.”

Creativity took off in our home today! Since we bought Gray's new car seat yesterday, we've been left with a giant box. And, what does one do with a big ol' box to make it awesome...turn it into a house of course! Thanks to Justin's ability to tune into his inner child, he saw the box and immediately wanted to turn it into a castle for Gray! I love my husband so much. He is such a devoted husband and the most incredible, attentive father. It made me smile to see him cutting, taping and creating such a cool activity for Grayson!
Grayson loved it! He giggled so hard at us playing peek-a-boo with him through the windows and doors, he crawled in and out of the space and kept trying to stand on top of the box! I saw an idea once about tying ribbon through the top of a box and letting your child crawl through it. I took the concept and fastened scarves through the top of the box. Gray had a lot of fun pulling, feeling and crawling through the fabric! It was a great activity! Tomorrow, we are hoping we'll get the opportunity to let Gray paint the box!
What a great sensory experience! Perfect for the peek-a-boo stage ;)
